Coming to BTS all I knew was that it was focused on helping people learn to be BTS teachers but I quickly learnt that it is more than that. BTS has really taught me that teaching doesn’t just come out of having knowledge it is also knowing how to intentionally reach someone’s heart and spirit while using the knowledge you have and that’s something I don’t think I could have been able to truly add to my craft outside of the BTS but most importantly I really began to grasp the importance of learning about the bible not only through conversation but also finding credible sources like museums and commentaries of people like Dan Lewis that will help us find information that is written from a well educated and unbiased perspective. I’ve really learnt that I have to put time aside to grow in teaching and my knowledge because if I don’t set time aside for it then I won’t be able to grow and become like a Daniel Cloud or even an Ezequiel Mora 👀.

Hey there! I’ve been on a real journey of self-discovery and growth through BTS2. It’s been an incredible platform where I’ve connected with like-minded individuals who share my passion for teaching the Bible. I feel so blessed to have the chance to study God’s Word and learn from such amazing resources, especially the work of Dan Lewis.

Becoming a Bible teacher can seem a bit daunting at first, but BTS has been an amazing, guiding me through every step of the way. It’s given me so much confidence in my calling and a burning desire to share God’s Word with the world. I can’t wait to see what God has in store for me and the opportunities that will come my way within the DBS community.

Cheers,

Attending Bible Teacher’s School in Amsterdam this August has been an amazing experience! From being mentored by incredible Bible scholars, to making connections with long-term friendships, I have been truly blessed to join again this year. Last year I attended BTS1 in Lausanne which started my Bible teacher journey. Since then God has given me the opportunity to practice what I am learning by teaching “David Week” in the DBS in Trentino, Italy in February. I knew I had to come to BTS2 for three reasons; to dive deeper into a new part of scripture with Dan Lewis, to build international relations and be inspired by other Christ-centered teachers, and ultimately to grow in my personal relationship with Christ by teaching His divinely-inspired Word. I have had so many incredible (life-changing) revelations about God through learning and then teaching scripture, that I can confidently say BTS 1 and 2 have far exceeded my expectations for a three-week Bible seminar. I hope to attend a BTS3 seminar in the future!
